What do you do? Currently I specialise in cleaning and polishing, but as part of my development I’ve been creating jewellery from scrap metal.

What do you enjoy most about your role? I particularly like making unique pieces of jewellery by melting scrap metal and turning it into a new creation.

What skills have you learned? I have developed my ability to operate as part of a skilled team of craftspeople. This includes solving both creative and practical problems when designing a special piece of jewellery. Also how to create a ring to the correct dimensions and how to clean and polish to a high standard.

What are you currently working on? A “Jigsaw” style pendant which has sections that attached and reattach to each other. It’s quite unique in it’s design.

What are your ambitions? My aim is to secure long term employment with Diamond Centre Wales and be the best Goldsmith I can be.
