Reopening Information

We are delighted to announce the reopening of Diamond Centre Wales for face-to-face appointments and our Showroom for collecting and dropping off your jewellery. 

Over the last few weeks, we have adapted our experience and work practices to offer our customers a safe and enjoyable visit to Diamond Centre Wales.

The information below details the process that needs to be followed when visiting us. We remain a by appointment service. 

(Virtual meetings are still available if preferred.)

 

Diamond Centre Wales – DESIGN CONSULTATION Protocol


This option is only available if you have not shown any symptoms or been in contact with anyone that is suffering/suffered with Coronavirus.
 

  • Upon arrival, please use the buzzer to call into Reception. The door will be buzzed open, allowing you to come in.
     
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided in our Atrium and one of our members of staff will greet you, from a 2m distance. We have installed large sneeze guards on the desks to protect both yourself and our staff.
    (Masks and gloves are available, and can be requested. We will leave these in Reception ready for when you come in.)
     
  • Prior to the appointment, we will discuss which piece of jewellery you would like to design, and these options will be ready for you. All of the jewellery present will have been steam cleaned by our on-site workshop, to ensure they are completely clean to try on.
     
  • Any rings that have been tried on will be set to one side, to be cleaned after the appointment. 
     
  • If the card machine needs to be used, this will have been sanitised prior to your arrival but will also be wiped down before using. 
     
  • We will be emailing order copies to you, and all equipment used during the appointment will be sanitised after you leave.
     
  • All doors will be disinfected before you arrive, and will be disinfected after your appointment has finished.
     

Our toilet facilities are available for use, but we ask that you please follow the guidelines on washing your hands. The toilet will be cleaned after every use, to ensure it is kept clean and sanitised.

Coffee and tea facilities are available, but please let us know what drinks you would like before your appointment. These will then be on the desk, ready for when you arrive.

Diamond Centre Wales – SIZING Protocol

 

We are now able to offer SIZING appointments within our Atrium, providing you are happy to follow the below procedure.
This option is only available if you have not shown any symptoms or been in contact with anyone that is suffering/suffered with Coronavirus.
 

  • Upon arrival, please use the buzzer to call into Reception. The door will be buzzed open, allowing you to come in.
     
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided in our Atrium and one of our members of staff will greet you, from a 2m distance. We have installed large sneeze guards on the desks to protect both yourself and our staff.

  • Your piece of jewellery will be on the desk, and will only have been handled after sanitising.
     
  • You are welcome to try on your jewellery and determine if it fits and if you are happy with the size. If there is any issue with the sizing, we can use our pre-sanitised sizing gauges. 
    (Any rings that have been tried on, will be cleaned after the appointment) 
     
  • All doors will be disinfected before you arrive, and will be disinfected after your appointment has finished.

Diamond Centre Wales – COLLECTION Protocol

 

We are now able to offer COLLECTION appointments within our Atrium, providing you are happy to follow the below procedure.
This option is only available if you have not shown any symptoms or been in contact with anyone that is suffering/suffered with Coronavirus.
 

  • Upon arrival, please use the buzzer to call into Reception. The door will be buzzed open, allowing you to come in.
     
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided in our Atrium and one of our members of staff will greet you, from a 2m distance. We have installed large sneeze guards on the desks to protect both yourself and our staff.
    (Masks and gloves are available, and can be requested. We will leave these in Reception ready for when you come in.)
     
  • Your piece of jewellery will be on the desk, and will only have been handled after sanitising.
     
  • You are welcome to try on your jewellery and determine if it fits and if you are happy with the size. If there is any issue with the sizing, we can use our pre-sanitised sizing gauges. 
    (Any rings that have been tried on, will be cleaned after the appointment.)
     
  • Your valuation and any other supporting documents will be already placed in a bag, on the black desk ready for you to take.
     
  • If payment has not been completed prior to the appointment, the card machine is available to use. If the card machine needs to be used, this will have been sanitised prior to your arrival but will also be wiped down before using. 
     
  • All doors will be disinfected before you arrive, and will be disinfected after your appointment has finished.

Diamond Centre Wales – DROP OFF Protocol

 

We are now able to offer DROP OFF appointments within our Atrium, providing you are happy to follow the below procedure.
This option is only available if you have not shown any symptoms or been in contact with anyone that is suffering/suffered with Coronavirus.
 

  • Upon arrival, please use the buzzer to call into Reception. The door will be buzzed open, allowing you to come in.
     
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided in our Atrium and one of our members of staff will greet you, from a 2m distance. We have installed large sneeze guards on the desks to protect both yourself and our staff.
    (Masks and gloves are available, and can be requested. We will leave these in Reception ready for when you come in.)
     
  • Prior to your appointment, we will discuss with you what you are dropping off, and a receipt will be prepared in advance. If the item needs to be checked by the workshop, we will do this after the appointment and will confirm the work that needs carrying out along with any quotes. 
     
  • If you are dropping an item off for resizing, we have pre-sanitised sizing gauges ready to be used on the Reception desk. 
    (Any rings that have been tried on, will be cleaned after the appointment.)
     
  • All doors will be disinfected before you arrive, and will be disinfected after your appointment has finished.
